バングラデシュ小学校開校式報告2016.08.06ブログ
いつもありがとうございます。みなさんの応援協力でバングラデシュ人民共和国シブプール・ボードハット小学校の校舎が完成しました。7月30日の開校式の報告が届きました。
開講宣言の後、校長先生の挨拶では「若尾守康の名前は私の胸のうちに永遠に残るだろう」と語られたそうです。そしてWVバングラデシュスタッフがメッセージを代読してくれました。
＜メッセージ＞
Hello everyone.
My name is Moriyasu Wakao.
On behalf of my company G+Spread Co., LTD. and WAKAO Confectionery Co., LTD.
many generous Japanese donors who supported the project, and, myself,
I would like to extend our warm wishes and share my thoughts on this special occasion.
I am sponsoring children in many countries, including Bangladesh, through World Vision.
Back in 2009, I visited Ethiopia in Africa with other Child Sponsors and World Vision staff. During the trip, I visited a school and learnt the importance of school where children will grow dreams and hopes for the future. And there, a dream was born in me: one day, I would like to build a school in other countries where it is needed. Then, at the World Vision office in Ethiopia, I saw the Vision Statement of World Vision hang on the wall. “Our Vision for every child, life in all its fullness. Our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so.” I realized that in order to bring changes, we, adults, not only need to think, but also need to ACT. I strongly felt that I would like to live my life for the future of the children in the world, and that I would like to ACT in order to make this world more gentle and better place for the children.
5 years later, when my company achieved its sales goal, I built a school in Myanmar with World Vision.
Then I established a new company specialized in producing and selling sweets that will contribute to build schools. I named the new company “G+Spread”. “G” means “gentleness”. “+ (plus-mark)” means “grow” and “to the world and to the future”. May the gentleness spread throughout the world and to the future; this is the vision of the company. With support of many Japanese people who bought the sweets of G+Spread, we can build a school here. And here we are today.
I am so glad that new school building, new toilet and new well have been completed. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all who made efforts for the projects.
I wish I could join you at this ceremony today. I, with many Japanese supporters, wish the very best for you all, especially children.
Children, please become a gentle person and commit yourself to make this world a better place. I believe in peace of the world, and I will do my part.
Let us all act to bring the fruitful future to the children.
May you all filled with happiness!
May this school be filled with smile and hope of many children!
I wish I can visit you in Bangladesh and meet you in near future.

想いのこもったメッセージはご来賓の皆さま、保護者、児童と子どもたちにとって大きな励ましとなったそうです。
国会議員の挨拶では、多くの子どもたちが教育を受けられるようになり、未来への希望を手にすることが出来る。日本の人々は私たちバングラデシュの友達です。学校運営委員会、教師、保護者、地域住民に対して子どもたちを学校に通わせるように勧めました。この学校がこの地域の識字率の向上に永きにわたって貢献するであろうと述べられたそうです。
とてもうれしいです。一緒に喜んでください。
本当にありがとうございます、みなさんのおかげです！
開校式に参加することは夢でした、とても行きたかったですがバングラデシュの治安により行くことができませんでした。ただこういう場所だからこそ学校が必要だと思おうと思います。そして少しでも早く平和が訪れ、学校に行き子どもたちに逢うことを大きな楽しみにします。
この学校に笑顔と希望が溢れ、愛のある人になってくれることを祈ります。
次は、やさしさを広げてアフリカに学校を創りたいと思います。宜しくお願いいたします。
